Library Programs for Adults
From meditation to art gallery displays, we host a variety of programs that the community can appreciate and enjoy.
Starting this March the Buena Vista Public Library will host a different class each month on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. We will have books displayed and information on digital resources related to each month’s wellness.
Please join us for a free class at the Buena Vista Public Library to learn about Social Wellness with Dr Josh McMullen author of Under the Big Top, Big Tent Revivalism and American Culture, 1885-1925.
This presentation will focus on how the USA became one of the most consumer driven and yet one of the most religious societies in the western world.
Qigong (pronounced: “chee gong”) involves coordinated, slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a calm meditative state of mind. Each weekly class will include new exercises aimed at increasing flexibility and energy. The instructor is John Candea with ThresholdSeminars.com
